Goat Mountain mountain biking trailmap, Spring Cove, and 007 Trails at Bass Lake, California

Goat Mountain, Spring Cove, and 007 1st

Ride and explore the 3 most popular trails in Bass Lake, which include intermediate flow trails with some technical sections where your mountain bike skills will be tested. These trails are the most popular trails in the area and will give you plenty of thrills and an incredible workout due to three significant climbs and downhill runs.

This ride begins at The Forks Resort on the shores of Bass Lake. From here, we will climb to our first trail, Goat Mountain. After riding down Goat Mountain Trail, we connect to the Spring Cove trail. At the end of Spring Cove, we will ride along the lake to Central Camp Road. Along the way, we will ride on Crane Valley Dam, with beautiful lake views. Once we arrive at Central Camp Road, we will begin the relatively mellow 5-mile climb to the 007 trail.

007 1st is the most popular trail in the Bass Lake area! It is flowy and technical, offering a little bit of everything for a rider. You will enjoy optional jumps, rock gardens, wall rides, and many line choices. Once back to lake level, we ride back to the Spring Cove trailhead and up the singletrack, the junction where the Goat-ninja trail begins. This trail is a blase with nice flowy sections, short and tricky rock gardens, and some exposure on your right. The ride ends near The Forks Resort, where we started the day.

Note: This tour can be shortened or extended depending on how much riding you would like to enjoy.
