Mike Broderick and Jorge Negrete first met at Tenaya Lodge on Mike’s first day as the new Director of Sales & Marketing at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. The two quickly became great friends, sharing their passion for riding the local trails and working at Tenaya Lodge. Although they both loved their jobs at Tenaya Lodge, they often discussed how they could make a living related to their passion for mountain biking. As fate would have it, the COVID-19 pandemic left them furloughed from their positions at Tenaya Lodge. They realized there was an opportunity to open a bike shop in Oakhurst, California, while they wait to be called back to work at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite.

Mike’s many years of experience being a luxury resort Director of Sales & Marketing dovetail perfectly with Jorge’s management experience and intense focus, which he developed as a pilot in the Peruvian Air Force. Their expertise, coupled with a mutual love for mountain biking, makes them ideal business partners. Both have the desire to provide exceptional service and products to those who share their passion for pedaling bicycles.
